Life is good Festivals rally good people around a great cause. All Life is good Festivals are free to the general public. Money is raised through the national sales of Life is good festival merchandise, festival sponsorships, personal donations at the festivals, and additional Life is good monetary donations.
To date, over 300,000 people have enjoyed our good old-fashioned outdoor festivals and helped Life is good raise more than $3 million, every penny of which has been donated to extraordinary children's charities. Visit Life is good to find out more about how the festivals started and how they are spreading good vibes nationwide.
Newland first got involved in the Life is good Festivals back in early 2006. It started as a conversation at The Vine conference where leaders of Newland Communities and Boston-based lifestyle and apparel company Life is good, met and immediately realized the two very different companies shared similar core values and an intent to build a strong sense of community nationwide.
This one-time meeting resulted in a great alliance, with the creation of national community-oriented pumpkin festivals being launched in October 2006 in 18 Newland communities from coast-to-coast.
Over this two-year period, the Life is good Pumpkin Festivals held in Newland Communities have raised over $800,000 for charities helping children facing unfair challenges across the country. Join us at one of eight community locations in 2008 to continue our tradition of good family fun and, most importantly, to help extraordinary children’s charities.
