One memorable day... 11 communities in seven states... Hundreds of pumpkins carved, faces painted, and scarecrows stuffed and sack races run... Thousands of lives changed, coast-to-coast through your attendance and support.
On Saturday, October 20, 2007, Newland Communities will host our second annual Life is good® Pumpkin Festivals all across the nation with funds raised to benefit charity.
While our purpose couldn’t be more serious, our festivals themselves are celebratory community events, incorporating good old-fashioned outdoor fun and family participation.
Our residents, neighbors and team members enjoy a day of pumpkin carving, scarecrow stuffing, face painting, live music and more.
The Brookwood Community is a residential/work community designed to enhance the lives of adults with functional disabilities who cannot live comfortably on their own in society. Providing programs with structure, security and opportunities for true growth and fulfillment, they serve over 140 people through residential and day/work programs and reach thousands more through the Outreach Program.
See you there!
